I am an astronomer that works on dwarf irregular galaxies and isolated early-type galaxies. Currently I work at NASA Ames as a NASA Postdoctoral Program (NPP) fellow. At NASA Ames I work with Pamela Marcum studying isolated early type galaxies. I completed my physics PhD at Florida International University in 2014. My dissertation work was advised by Caroline E. Simpson and focused on the gas kinematics and morphologies of the six blue compact dwarf galaxies in the LITTLE THINGS sample. I also received my bachelor's degree from Bryn Mawr College in 2008, where I double majored in physics and astronomy.
