I am an astronomer that works on dwarf irregular galaxies and isolated early-type galaxies.  Currently I work at NASA Ames as a NASA Postdoctoral Program (NPP) fellow.  At NASA Ames I work with Pamela Marcum studying isolated early type galaxies.  I completed my physics PhD at Florida International University in 2014 .  My dissertation work was advised by Caroline E. Simpson and focused on the gas kinematics and morphologies of the six blue compact dwarf galaxies in the LITTLE THINGS sample. I also received my bachelor's degree from Bryn Mawr College in 2008, where I double majored in physics and astronomy.
